Okay, Let me give an example. Running a mission. Angel's Extrav. This was a big one back in the day; I can remember a corp mate showing such concern for the amount of DPS in the last room; today it feels quite under whelming, I think it was nerf...

Just bypass it and use the EVEFILE.exe Once you have used the launcher after update to verify teh files, you never need to use it again till after the next update. I speak from a person with 5 chars in-use almost all the time that I am logged in...
